Winners and Losers...

What does waking up two hours earlier mean? That I sit on the internet for two more hours before work. Damnit. The plan was to wake up and be productive with my life... this could consist of things as simple as going for a walk, going to the store or simply cleaning my apartment. I accomplished nothing. I should have at least planned my lessons for today, which I also didn't do. Instead I took the the time to try and catch up on just some of the sports news that I have been missing....and creep on facebook.

I would like to note that Toronto is no longer in last place thankyouverymuch. Good ol' Carolina has won merely two games while we have won a staggering three.... this is a weight off my shoulders.

In all seriousness though, from a standings perspective my Colts are doing awesome. Granted, I haven't been able to actually see any games so I have no way to judge the standard of play, but a win is a win (or a loss a loss in Toronto's case). We play the Pats this weekend, a game that I am truly sorry I will miss. My team versus my boyfriend's team (aka Tom Brady). Should be a good game.

I've never been much one to "surf the net", and don't have the attention span to sit and read articles for hours. I like tv. I like to be told what is going on without having to exert too much effort. I also like to see moving pictures while I am being told something. While this can be done on the internet, it is too much work. I hope to stay on top of my sports news a little more now that I've checked it once. As for the rest of the news? Not so much. I plan on it all just being a big surprise when I come back to Canada. If Vancouver Island falls in to the ocean... I probably won't know. Unless my kids tell me about it. They informed me the other week that a Canadian singer had died while hiking up a mountain... he was eaten by a bear or something. Although I never actually confirmed this so for all I know they could have made up the entire story...which wouldn't surprise me.

I have also found a bar that plays Monday night football games (albeit on Tuesdays) at 8:00. It just so happens I finish work at 7:30...fate? yes. Now I just need to confirm this and find at least one friend to drag along with me and I will have a new Tuesday night ritual.

Well I head to school in half an hour and should probably come up with some sort of plan for the day... most likely I'll be lazy and just let the kids play games, yell in Korean and hit me... just another regular day
