While Sunday was a very cloudy day the temperature was actually decent. Jon, Krista and I decided to head to Namsan Tower (North Seoul Tower). It consisted of a subway ride, a subway transfer, another subway ride, a bus ride, and then walking up a hill. It was cool though (although MUCH smaller than pretty much any other "tower"...especially the CN tower. But it is on a hill/mountain). There were a ton of Koreans walking up this hill/mountain that we took the bus up and thank god, it was huge. And just in case you weren't getting enough exercise there was also areas with workout equipment. These Koreans are crazy sometimes. It was too bad that the day was overcast because I'm sure that the views are awesome, however on a day like Sunday they were a little less than impressive. I would (and will) love to go back on a clear day, also to see a sunset and at night they put on a light show which will also be cool to see. I'm glad that I went and can now say that I have gone.

These are locks that couples put on the fence. They also write notes to one another on them... some say cute idea, I say barf... it's gonna suck when you break up and that lock is there for eternity.
The benches are all like this, I was pretending to fall, and then I actually did fall.
When we decided to go back down Jon asked if I wanted to walk down this mountain... apparently my initial reaction had "I don't fucking think so" written all over my face. Needless to say, we took the bus. Then we headed to Hongdae (which included an hour bus ride) to get some delicious chicken galbi (bbq chicken).
Okay folks, well that was my weekend. I split it up by event to make the posts shorter and easier for you to read at work (since that's where most of you read them).
