While those of you back home are just waking up for Remembrance Day, I just finished my own holiday in Korea. Unlike Remembrance Day however, this has nothing to do with honoring anyone and we still have to go to work. November 11th in Korea is Pepero Day.
Pepero basically a hard bread stick covered in chocolate.... not that great, but still a treat. I caved and bought some for my students and handed them out to my favorite classes and then used them as prizes in other classes.
I decided to judge just how much I was loved by how many I got... I say that I am loved appropriately. Not being there too long I haven't won all the kids over, but I have won over enough that I will be eating Pepero until Christmas at least. My favorite ones are the ones that are coated in chocolate and crushed almonds.... deeeeelicious!
In other news I just ate pink chicken... don't be surprised if I die tomorrow. Kidding, I only ate half of it before I stopped. Stretch ate the whole thing, if anyone is going to die, it's going to be him.
