Yesterday (Saturday) was a really busy day. I'm going to break up the blog posts based on the person that I met. So first was NY.
Her subway stop is only 4 away from mine, so it should only take about 10 minutes once I get on the subway. However, there is a rapid train that only stops at certain stops, and it's awesome if you can get on it. I don't know when any train comes, I just show up at the subway station and hope for the best. 9 times outta 10 though I catch the rapid train. Sure enough, I did again and arrived much too early.
Finally we meet and decide to go for coffee near the station so that I could make it home by 3:00 for a phone call. We go to Dunkin Donuts (weird that my first time there ever is in Korea).. but couldn't figure how to get in. We walked back and forth in front of these huge windows and everyone stared at us like we were morons. We even walked around back to try and find a door. Nothing. What is this space-aged nonsense!?! How do you get in! Oh wait... you mean that window with the handle is actually a door? Right on the front of the store? Ohhhh.. riiiiggghtt... Man I felt stupid.
The rest isn't really blog-worthy.. we just chatted and then parted ways as I had to get back to my apartment.
