Remember that hill that I told you I climbed yesterday (that some of you say was not a hill).... well I have proof that it was. My calves are completely seized up and it hurts to stand normally on them. If that isn't proof of a hill than I don't know what is!
On a different note, I did get my washing machine to work yesterday. I have no idea how and the likelihood of me making it happen again is slim.
I had a bug in my apartment today. GROSS. Although, I just talked to a girl who just arrived last night in Korea and when she was taken to her place there was cockroaches in it... so I guess one bug in almost a week isn't so bad. I have hated all bugs (even lady bugs) since I was a kid. I think they are gross and am sure that one day I will die because of them. When I spot one it's sheer panic, then because I have no one around to kill it, I realize that I have to do something. I keep my eyes glued to it and grab paper towel.. heaps of paper towel. After staring at it for another minute or two I finally get the courage up to squish it. In this case it was on the roof and crunched really loud when I squished it. I screamed, let the paper towel and bug fall and ran away. After realizing that I was still alive, I snuck back up on the bug. It was squished but still moving. Gross. I squished it again and then flushed it down the toilet. All in all it was a very traumatic experience.
May be going to meet up with someone who actually speaks English tonight for dinner. Although, plans still aren't finalized so there's a chance it might not happen.
No word on when I start teaching yet. I think I'll call my boss tonight and see if I am to come to school tomorrow. If not I'll likely go do some sort of touristy thing.
Miss ya Canada!

HEY JANA!!!
Its 1:45am back here in Regina and cant really sleep as I got home from the gym about an hour ago, so I thought I would catch up on your blog! So glad I did, I like reading about your daily adventures not to mention your pictures as well. (especially the one you snuck of the guy doing the leg press hahaha).
So no clue as to when you start teaching? Im anxious to hear how your first day goes, I am hoping for the best, but any funny stories would be a bonus ;)
Good luck, and keep posting, as I have finished up my midterms and will look forward to reading more of your adventures on the other side of the planet.

Chao Amigo!
Hey thanks buddy! Glad to know that at least a few people are reading this thing.
I think that I start Monday, but the official word hasn't been given yet. I'll be sure to post every embarrassing and awkward detail that happens on my first few days of teaching, don't you worry!
