The past two nights of my holidays have been fun. On Tuesday I went to that Canadian pub and it was great... Canadian beer and sports... love love love.
Last night three of us met up with our Korean friend (remember the Chip Chip / Motherfucker jacket?, ya that friend. I finally snagged a picture from my friend). We went for a very traditional Korean meal.. it reminded me of chicken noodle soup. It was delicious. A little difficult to eat because the chunks of chicken were so large that we couldn't figure out how to eat them. But it's great having a Korean friend who can introduce you to things like this, and also try and teach you the names and proper ways to eat them.
Tonight is the always overrated New Years Eve. I was excited to spend it somewhere other than Canada but to be honest, it's already been drama filled and seems to be more work than it's worth.
The plan is to go for dinner and then drink, then somehow make it to the outdoor thing for countdown and then back somewhere to drink and then to the 63 building for sunrise... I see this plan failing on many accounts. It's butfuck cold out.. like wow... so standing outside for any length of time is not fun. We have a bunch of different personalities and I see the inevitable clash occurring at some point. AND the dinner choice? Indian.. what is the only type of food that I detest.... Indian.
I was not happy at first, but I am sitting here thinking how much money I will save by not eating dinner out... and (as responsible as this sounds) how much more I can drink because of it... so basically my plan this New Years Eve is the same plan I always have... drink... drink...drink.. .and let the pictures tell me the story in the morning.
Happy New Year everyone.
