Jenna arrived on Friday April 30th and made her way from the airport to my school swimmingly. About an hour later I finished up and we headed to Bupyeong for some dinner. Took her for some Korean BBQ where we had some pork and some beef. It was great to catch up and swap some stories. It was also great to watch her tackle the art of lettuce wrapping.. like a true Westerner she loaded up her lettuce to the point where she couldn't close it. Now it would have been nice of me to inform her that wasn't exactly how the Koreans did it here, but instead I enjoyed watching her try to eat it and the Koreans staring at her in awe. Good friend I am. After dinner we just went for a couple drinks and then headed home... she had a long day of traveling and I was exhausted from my students... plus we both knew Saturday was gonna be a looooong day.
