I play games with the kids a lot at school... these are usually games that involve learning (like spelling or memory or conversation) but the kids love them. We were playing a game where I said a word and two kids rushed to the board to spell it out. Easy enough, the kids love the game.
The lesson was on camping and it just so happened on the picture there was wet laundry hanging and there were socks on the line. So I said "Socks". The first attempt said Soukes.... Nope... try again....and again.. I finally got them to Sock... then I whispered "s"... One team realized I meant to add an "s" at the end.. the other team took it to mean change the "s" at the beginning. What did they change it to? A "c" of course.. Cock.... I burst out laughing and of course the kids couldn't understand why I thought it was so funny. I hope none of them went home to Google it.
With the days I've been having lately at work, you gotta love the little gems that brighten your day.
