Parks and Putt Putt

Well I gotta say, the day was well worth it... and at times I even forgot I was sick for a brief second.

After the 2 hour trek to Olympic Park Jeff, James, Rich and I wandered around the grounds looking at different buildings and sculptures. We tried to rent bikes, there was an hour wait. We tried to go in to some of the buildings (such as the Olympic pool), but all were closed. We did however check out the museum and the beautiful park grounds. I know that I already posted a bunch of Olympic Park photos earlier so I'll try to only post new ones.

Medals from a bunch of the different Games.                This was used to help light the torch.

Wandering around the park.

Lots of families were out. This kid made him mom ride his bike and then got mad at her for not going faster.

After the park we headed to a Putt Putt! I know it may not seem very Korea, but James found it online and we just had to try it out... it was the first one any of us had ever heard of in Korea. This course was on top of a mall/subway station so was easy enough to get to. 6,000 won each and another 3,000 for a beer and we were set. This course was built for tiny tiny people, likely children. It was the shortest course that I have ever seen in fact. All the wholes were par 2, but that didn't stop me from getting 5 on nearly all of them. Regardless though it was a great time filled with lots of laughs, all spent outside.

I'm glad that at least one day was salvaged after the disaster the past two had turned in to. Now it's time for bed, some of us have to work tomorrow.

Note: I am the ONLY one I know out of all of my friends that has to actually work tomorrow. boooo
