A little bit of lovely

This weekend was another one of ups and down. Saturday was great, Sunday was lame. I hate how weather dictates so much here. Sunday I had come up with a great plan for us and of course, it was destroyed when I woke up and it was pouring.

Saturday on the other hand, was beautiful. A little bit of a late start to the day (thanks to some Friday night drinks), Jeff and I headed to Insadong for one last time before I will head home. I love Insadong for so many reasons, and hate it for only one: the crowd. But while shopping at tiny shops I was approached all day by appreciative students asking me to help them with their homework. Pictures were taken, petitions signed, and even a video made.

After Insadong we walked to the city hall area and I watched more children play in a fountain, longing to be 5 years old again. Sat on the grass and watched as children practiced for their performance on stage later that evening. As the sun was about to set we decided it was time to make the trek back to Incheon. Overall a lovely day spent at two of my favorite places in Seoul.
