Burnt Peanut Butter Anyone?

Exactly one month from today will be my last day of work in Korea, and boy it can't come soon enough. Now don't get me wrong, I love Korea. If I didn't have to work, I wold be wishing the time to crawl by at a snail-like pace. However, I do have to work. After being a glorified babysitter to children from ages 6-16 for the past 11 months, I am exhausted. So I am wishing away my Monday to Friday and waiting for the weekends.... but that's not much different than life back home if I remember correctly.

Changing the subject...

Today at about 5:30 I walk out of a classroom and immediately smell burnt peanut butter... err.. I mean pot (yes, only my a few of my family members will get that). This is unheard of in Korea as pot is actually illegal. Yes, yes.. it's "illegal" in Canada too but everyone still does it, but here no. It's hard to find (as my B.C. friends have found) and rare to smell. The fact that I smelt it in my school made me laugh. One of the other teachers studied in Vancouver for a year so she knew immediately what it was. My bosses son is back and he went to school in Canada so he knew what it was and went and told his mom. I actually haven't ruled him out as the one that was smoking it... in fact I first got a whiff of it after he got to the school... coincidence?
