SHARK!

I previously mentioned how we stopped at Puka Beach during our scooter adventure in the Philippines. A group of us were standing by the water and noticed something in the distance that looked like an animal of some sorts. Now I wasn't wearing my glasses (as I rarely do) so my opinion meant nothing even to me and I went along with what everyone else was seeing.

People started getting worked up and suddenly someone mentioned that it could be a small shark. It looked like it was staying in roughly the same area so maybe it was feeding. We jumped on board this idea and ran with it. Finally one of the locals near by came over and informed us that it was, in fact, a rock. Hahahaha, a rock... we felt like idiots. 

Our friend Danny had been sitting a bit away with a couple other people but ran over to us to have a swim. We let him know about the shark and he believes us completely. We stand there and watch him bath from the shoreline like a baby would, all trying to stifle our laughter. He gets back up and keeps talking about the shark, I finally can't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing and we decide that we should tell him. So while we looked like fools originally, at least we got a friend to look like a bigger fool in the end.
