On Sunday there was sun, one of the few times that I have seen a sunny weekend in Korea. Being we were at a beach we took advantage to be out for a few hours. Silly us hadn't thought to even bring sunscreen since it was supposed to rain all weekend. But really.. what's a couple hours? And I just got back from the Philippines where I got a nice base tan, right? Oh man how I was wrong.
My face, my chest and my arms are burnt to a crisp. My face got the worst of it and it's actually crispy (as in hard, my skin is actually hard). I was also wearing a headband that apparently was pulled down on the my forehead a little bit because I also have a white line across it, hot. My kids have been calling me Apple-face, Tomato-face, Red-face monster, etc. And when I asked one kid how he was today he said terrible, I regretted asking why as his response was "your face".
I have decided to document my burn. I wish I had taken pictures the past two days, but let me assure you that today is the worst of them all. All night I have been trying different remedies that I have read online and none have worked. Of course this had to happen right before my birthday....

okay big sis time, aloe is the only thing that can truly help relieve a sunburn, nothing else really works.

shut up old lady, if a person's mother would tell them to put on suntan lotion before leaving the house to go sit in the sun, we would not experience these burns!
once one is in their 20's they should know enough to put suntan lotion on. Especially when that child had a mother that put lotion on her every day for 12 years. hahaha.

stop blowing up my blog comments... ya ya ya suncreen woulda been the safe choice. but rain made us believe we didn't need to bring any of that shit. give it a year or two and sunscreen won't mean shit anyways
as for the hair.... dude... i have better things to do than sit at home and do my hair for my blog... seriously, I thought you knew better
