Nothing to Report... sorry guys

So what's been going on in Korea I'm being asked. Not too much as of late. All of the grand plans we seem to make get crushed for one reason or another. But it's okay, I have the Philippines to keep me going. The closer it gets to my trip the more and more perfectly fine I am with spending a shitload on the ticket. I love Korea but man I need a vacation, a proper vacation.

Yesterday was a holiday in Korea and I should have taken advantage of it a bit more but instead all I did was go in to Seoul and get a new phone. Of course, being a holiday they couldn't set up my phone, apparently at some point today that will happen.

My boss has often has me correct speeches for the kids. Now these are kids saying these speeches so I never correct them to the point where it looks like an adult with a university degree has written it for them. I make it make sense and that's about it. Well apparently that's not the right idea, after I corrected the most recent one, the 10 year old child then gave it to her school teacher to correct (a Korean). Sure enough, the thing came back with red all over it and complete paragraphs rewritten. My boss then confronts me on it and I have trouble explaining why I hadn't fixed that all myself. But for anyone who knows me, grammar isn't my thing, never has been. So when something sounds right to me apparently it's still grammatically wrong. And if there is one thing Korean English majors know here, it's grammar. They may not be able to speak it but they sure can write it. So now my boss thinks I'm stupid and wondering just why in fact he hired me.

The past two mornings I have had peaceful sleeps with the campaigning of singing and dancing being gone from my bedroom window. Now if only I had an air conditioner, or even a fan... life would good.
