Naked Men

We have had hot and sunny weather all week, and of course Saturday rolls around and it's pouring. I meet up with Jeff and Brit in their area and before we head in to Seoul I stop to recharge my phone (pay as you go type thing). I've done it for the past seven months and never had a problem. Apparently this girl was an idiot and somehow did something to stop my entire phone from working, no receiving or making calls or texts. Nice. Why technology hates my I don't know. I went back to try and get her to fix it but she locked up and went for lunch. Just my luck. So a broken phone and rain put me in a right shitty mood. Nonetheless into Seoul we went to check out a Greek exhibit (Gods, Heroes and Mortals) at the National Museum of Korea.

Of course you can't take pictures in the exhibit but you can pretty much figure it out. Lots and lots and lots of pots. I understand that was a huge part of their culture but it started to get redundant, even with the different paintings on it. Although there were some questionable things, like on painting of a man and a goat, where I'm pretty sure they are licking one another's asses, and the man seems aroused by it. I believe it was titled "Beauty and the Beast".... umm.... riiiight...  Then there was the "Attempted Rape" sculpture that was slightly disturbing as well. The entire exhibit was the perfect size though, any more and I woulda been bored, any less and I would have been annoyed for having paid to get in.

Of course we had to do the stereotypical Asian tourist photo.

Next up... a post on my first World Cup experience!

Note: my phone situation has since been rectified and all is good again. except for when i got bumped and it was dropped in a puddle and refused to work for a few hours.
