Had my going away dinner tonight. Went for galbi (korean bbq), and obviously it was delicious.... I'm gonna miss it. Then we went to our local place for a round of darts and a few beers. Was a later night than I was expecting (1:15am), but thankfully we dragged the others out early enough not to be hung over tomorrow.
As excited as I am to come home and see my family and friends, I am well aware that I am going to miss the friends that I made in Korea immensely.
Life is going to be a lot different back in Canada and while I'm aware of it, I know that it's still going to affect me. I've been told that unless you've lived overseas, you can't fully understand the "reverse culture shock", and I'm starting to realize that it may be true.
In 3 days I will be cautiously returning to Canada. Please treat me kindly ;)
