On Sunday I decided that sprained ankle or not, I was dragging myself in to Seoul. Original plans were to hit up some parks and maybe a new exhibit. Talked to a friend just before I left and decided to change plans and go with them to instead, didn't matter what I did just as long as I got out of my house.
Our first stop was Namdeamun Market. Unfortunately the market sucked. It was so hot, the buildings blocked the winds, and little shade....we didn't last long.
(knock off underwear anyone??)
Our next stop was City Hall area where we saw a huge advertisement for the G20 Summit, ballerinas and children playing in water. The highlight was the boy who stood over the fountain to cause the water to shoot at unsuspecting parents as if it were his super sonic pee.
(just chilling.. I mean damn, it's hot out)
(hahahaha this is the peeing boy, ahaha love him)
Our next stop was the stream that runs near City Hall. Everyone flocks here on a hot summer day; children play in the water, families have picnics, couples take strolls along the stream... and it was one of the busiest days I had seen yet.
Dying of thirst we head to what we thought was an ice bar.. you know cups made of ice and such. We only thought this because the sign happened to say "ICE BAR". We walk in and it's nothing more than an overpriced establishment with a USA theme charge 8,000won for a bottle of beer. One drink and we were outta there...
(crazy how they got it sooo life-like!)
A little more walking around before dinner and heading back to Incheon.
(a little suggestive no?)
