SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!

I honestly don't ever remember getting a legitimate snow day from school. Maybe I did and just can't remember. But as far as I am concerned, in Saskatchewan unless you were dead you went to school.... -50? Go to school... Can't see your hand in front of you because of a blizzard? Go to school... you just went no matter what.

Well today as I waited to go to school at 3:00 I started hearing talk of a snow day. It started with my other private school friends (who have to make up class on Saturday, boooo), and then even some public school teachers got sent home. I figured, no call, I must still have school.

I take the one block trek to school only to be told that classes have been canceled and to go home and rest. I didn't get out the door before my boss told me 4 more times to make sure that I go home and rest and then that I have had too much vacation. Way to contradict yourself. Whatever.. Then he called me to make sure to tell me to rest. After I had left half an hour before. Hahaha, oh Korea.

I only wish that I would have known sooner that I had a snow day, a new friend was in search of someone to play in the snow and I would have been all over it, if only I had known. Oh well, still plan to make the most of it and have two friends coming down to the ghettocheon (how I've begun to refer to my poor area of Incheon that none of my friends ever come to because it sucks that bad) for dinner. This is the first time my friends have come down for dinner.

I tried to ask if we have a make up day but my boss got confused and just said "all classes are canceled" and walked away... I don't think he understood. I am already preparing myself for having to work on Saturday. Oh well, nothing I can do about it so I might as well enjoy extending my vacation by one more day.
